Leading up & the day of..

I was excited as I made my reservation about 10 days ago. However, as the date drew near, I began having generalized feelings of being down in the dumps. I should have realized when I begin having those feelings for no situational reasons I usually get sick with a cold or worse. Yes, I got a cold that spread to my lungs. Luckily, I had antibiotics and starting taking the set last week. Today, on my day of flying I took my last one.
The felt the excitement of a new journey as I finalized my last bit of packing the charged electronics. I felt a little rush which is strange since I am never late, or I should say seldom. The ride to the airport was uneventful.
